Real Time Search: Are You Speaking SEO?

Speaking in SEO is certainly a bit of an art, and if you haven’t been practicing, the time to start is now. Like a high powered online vacuum cleaner, Google and Bing’s real-time search capabilities rapidly suck in the latest updates from blogs, Twitter and social media sites like Facebook.

What’s the consequence?

Even casual communications can have a major impact on your search engine rankings.

How To Take Action

Optimize all of your communications. You need to cast a wider net over your entire approach to online messaging, including:

  • Using the keywords that are critical to your business in tweets, updates, blogs and online forums
  • Adding keyword rich click-through URLs, with tracking codes, to all of your updates
  • Test landing pages to be sure that your message and your navigation pathways are clear to all your visitors
